Aged care costs can feel complex. Here's a plain-English guide.
Covers everyday living expenses like meals, laundry, and utilities. Set at 85% of the base pension (~$63/day in 2026).
Either a refundable lump sum (RAD), a daily payment (DAP), or a combination. Amount varies by room and location.
An optional additional fee based on income and assets. Many residents pay little or nothing extra. We'll calculate this for you.
An ACAT assessment is required before entry. It's free and we'll help you arrange it — or accompany you if you'd like.
